To fly into and out of New York we had to go via Chicago. The extra stop was worth it just to see the amazing view of a huge city completely covered in snow. As you can see here there is nothing but white shapes separated by roads. It was certainly a sight we had never seen before.

Landing at Chicago's O'Hare airport was different too. We landed on ice-covered runways and as you can see there is snow everywhere. It is amazing that this can be the location of one of America's largest airports.
