Putting on our tourist hats we set out to see everything tourists have
to see in New York.
First stop, Statue of Liberty.
And we picked a lovely foggy day to
see Ms Liberty. Here we see her emerging from the fog, along with
the obligatory backside shot.

Climbing the statue is a ritual which all tourists must obey. Ok, it is
not law but you would feel stupid travelling all that way and not climbing
the damn thing wouldn't you... All 22 stories.....

On the right is Ellis Island. The ferry pulled in there but we
didn't bother getting off.

Rockerfeller Center
was just a little bit busy around Christmas.
On the left shows as close as we could get on our first visit.
Later we got to see the famous ice skating rink (right). Chris
had a skate later in the week and enjoyed it plenty!
