12/02/2002

Jacqui and Chris really enjoyed the Tower of London - but like Dover Castle the photos don't do it justice. [Where is it?]

Ravens have lived at the Tower ever since it was built. There is a superstition dating from the time of Charles II that when there are no longer ravens in the Tower both the White Tower and the British Commonwealth will fall. That's why their wings are clipped... The White Tower transformed from a fortress to an armory. These days it is an armory museum. Some of the armory of Henry VIII.
