| Lullingstone Roman Villa. Originally built and occupied in 75 AD, it was only discovered in 1939. It has since been excavated and opened to the public. | The walls are all that are left of the Villa, but show where the rooms and halls once were. A building has been erected over the site to protect it. | This shows what is left of a wash room at the end of the Villa. Multiple baths were originally available with hot water at the far end, warm water in the middle and cold water at the near end. |
