The Cottage

A few miles from Cashel is the little cottage where Chris' grandmother and her family grew up. It is still owned by the family and is used as a little holiday cottage. Breda (Chris' great Aunt) and her children, Elaine and John, were there doing some work on it, so we were able to warm up by the fire and learn how about 10 kids grew up in this tiny cottage!

The local church and graveyard, where Chris' Great Grandfather and Great Great Grandfather and other ancestors are buried. Some old ruins in the block opposite the church. There are many such ruins around the area. The front of the cottage.
