Here are a few shots of the city and surrounding features. The city skyline is shown here
with the sun high in the sky, then a little later when the sun was going down.

The conference had a few social events, too (of course!). The annual reception dinner is always exciting.
This year a simulated Bayou gave us the 'feel' of the swamps. Here we can see a natural Bayou bar.
The vendor parties were the other social events for computer heads to enjoy. The
sendmail party on the
top floor of the Marriott was popular for the great views of the city.
Here's one of them showing Canal Street at night.

After the conference dinner another trip to Bourbon Street was in order. Jac found a giant grenade to play
with. Kept her busy for hours... The police also enjoy their share of Bourbon Street - or were they
searching for Jac?

The vendor exhibits at the conference were another highlight - lots of giveaways! Here
Eric Allman shares
his thoughts about sendmail at the
O'Reilly
stand. The conference finally ended with the annual
LISA Quiz Show. Always entertaining, more or less!
