About CHRIS MILES

Hi, my name is Chris Miles. I was born in Melbourne, Australia, in 1971. I went to primary schools in Melbourne and Foster, Victoria. I went to high school in Murwillumbah, New South Wales. Then I studied at La Trobe University (back in Melbourne) doing a double degree course, Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science & Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electronics.

After completing my degrees in 1995 I worked at Cybergraphic Systems as a C/UNIX programmer for 7 months before moving to Radius Computing as a Unix Systems Administrator. In November 1997 I left Radius to work at Connect.com.au where I had a lot of fun as a Systems Architect.

In April 2001 I married Jacqui in Melbourne, then in January 2002 we decided to leave Australia and move to London, UK. We have lived in London since then, first in Finchley, then Putney and now Wandsworth. I was hired by a startup E-commerce company, Venda LTD, in May 2002, as Systems & Development Manager. In August 2004 I decided a change was required and moved to Claranet as Systems Team Leader.
